FAQs

What playing surface are these boots suitable for?

These adidas F50 Club x Messi TF boots are specifically designed for optimal performance on artificial turf (TF) surfaces. Using them on other surfaces may reduce performance and durability.

Are these boots suitable for natural grass?

No, these boots feature a 'Turf' (TF) outsole, which is not designed for natural grass pitches. For natural grass, you would need boots with an FG (Firm Ground) or SG (Soft Ground) outsole.

What does 'Messi Edition' mean for these boots?

The 'Messi Edition' indicates that the boots feature design elements, colourways ('La Vida Rapida'), and an upper tailored to Lionel Messi's personal preferences for fit and style. They are part of his endorsed collection.

How do I clean my F50 Club x Messi TF boots?

After use, brush off loose dirt. Wipe the synthetic upper with a damp cloth and mild soap. Air dry naturally away from direct heat or sunlight to prevent material damage.

Are these boots durable?

Yes, they are constructed with quality synthetic materials for durability. To maximize their lifespan, ensure they are used exclusively on artificial turf as intended and follow the care instructions.

What is the 'floating tongue' feature?

The 'floating tongue' design helps provide a more adaptive and comfortable fit around the midfoot, reducing pressure points and offering additional support, contributing to the overall secure feel of the boot.

Troubleshooting

Poor grip on artificial turf

Ensure the outsole is clean of any debris or mud. The low-profile rubber studs are designed for optimal grip on artificial turf; check for excessive wear if the problem persists.

Laces constantly come undone

Try a double knot or a 'surgeon's knot' for added security. Ensure laces are pulled tight and evenly distributed before tying.

Boots feel too tight or uncomfortable

Ensure you are wearing appropriate football socks. The synthetic upper may require a few wear sessions to break in. If discomfort persists, verify the size is correct; a 'regular fit' might not suit all foot shapes.

Premature wear on the outsole

These boots are designed for artificial turf. Using them on natural grass, concrete, or extremely abrasive surfaces will significantly accelerate wear. Ensure they are used on the recommended playing surface.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Exceptional acceleration and speed on artificial turf.
  • Superior grip and stability on artificial turf for dynamic play.
  • Comfortable and supportive fit, inspired by Lionel Messi's preferences.
  • Distinctive Messi-themed design.
  • Made with recycled materials, promoting sustainability.

Cons

  • Specifically designed for artificial turf; performance may be suboptimal on other surfaces.
  • Regular fit may not suit all foot types perfectly.

Setup:

The F50 Club x Messi TF boots feature a traditional lace closure. To ensure a secure and comfortable fit, fully loosen the laces before putting the boots on. Once your foot is comfortably inside, tighten the laces evenly from the toe towards the ankle, ensuring they are snug but not overly tight, and then tie them securely.

Compatibility:

These football shoes are specifically designed for artificial turf (TF) playing surfaces. They are part of the 'Club' series, suitable for aspiring young players. They are available in various kids' sizes. Do not use on natural grass or hard ground surfaces, as this may compromise grip and durability.

Care:

  1. Cleaning: After each use, gently brush off any loose dirt or artificial rubber pellets using a soft brush. For stubborn dirt, wipe the synthetic upper with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  2. Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not expose them to direct sunlight or use artificial heat sources (like radiators or hair dryers), as this can damage the materials.
  3. Storage: Store the boots in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Consider stuffing them with newspaper to help absorb moisture and maintain their shape if they are very wet.
