Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Lacing: Ensure the boots are laced up securely from toe to ankle. A snug fit is crucial for stability and to prevent blisters. Adjust the tightness to your child's comfort, ensuring it's firm but not restrictive.
- Break-in Period: Like all new footwear, these boots may require a short break-in period. Encourage your child to wear them for short periods during light activities before full-intensity play to allow the material to conform to their foot.
Compatibility
These adidas F50 Club TF boots are designed specifically for artificial turf (TF) surfaces. The specialized lug rubber outsole provides optimal traction on synthetic grass pitches. Using them on natural grass, hard ground, or indoor courts may result in suboptimal performance, reduced grip, and premature wear.
Care Instructions
Proper care will extend the life and maintain the performance of the boots:
- Cleaning After Use: After each use, remove any loose dirt, mud, or artificial turf pellets from the upper and outsole. A soft brush or damp cloth is effective for this.
- Spot Cleaning: For stubborn marks or stains on the synthetic upper, use a mild soap solution and a soft cloth. Gently wipe the affected area, then wipe clean with a damp cloth.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not expose them to direct heat sources (like radiators or direct sunlight), as this can damage the synthetic materials and rubber.
- Storage: Store the boots in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Consider using boot trees or crumpled newspaper inside to help maintain their shape.
- Avoid Machine Washing: Do not machine wash or tumble dry the boots, as this can severely damage their structure and materials.
