Setup, Compatibility & Care
Surface Preparation
For optimal results, ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and sound. Remove any loose or flaking paint, dirt, or grease. Fill any cracks or holes with appropriate filler and sand smooth. For new, bare, or highly porous surfaces, a suitable primer or mist coat (diluted first coat of this paint) is recommended to ensure even absorption and a consistent finish.
Application
- Stir Thoroughly: Before and periodically during use, stir the paint well to ensure an even consistency and color.
- Apply Evenly: Use a good quality brush or roller. Apply in even strokes, avoiding overworking the paint.
- Drying Time: Allow adequate drying time between coats. *Info needed: specific drying time per coat*
- Number of Coats: Typically, two coats are sufficient for complete coverage, but additional coats may be required for a deeper color or if painting over a strong contrasting color.
Compatibility
- Surfaces: Ideal for interior walls and ceilings.
- Not Recommended: Not suitable for floors, exterior surfaces, or surfaces requiring a very hard-wearing finish like kitchen cabinets without specific primers.
Care & Maintenance
- Cleaning: The wipeable finish allows for easy cleaning. Gently wipe marks or spills with a soft, damp cloth and mild detergent if necessary. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh scrubbing, which can damage the finish.
- Storage: Store the paint in a cool, dry place, protected from frost. Keep the lid tightly sealed to prevent the paint from drying out.
