The ASICS Gel-NYC Utility trainers are designed for adults seeking a balance of high-performance technical support and modern aesthetic versatility. Featuring the brand's signature GEL cushioning, these shoes offer exceptional comfort for all-day wear and urban navigation. While they provide excellent structural integrity and support, potential users should note that the utility-focused construction may feel slightly stiffer than dedicated ultra-lightweight racing flats.

While the Gel-NYC Utility features excellent cushioning, it is designed primarily as a lifestyle trainer for walking and daily urban use rather than long-distance high-intensity running.
We recommend measuring your foot while standing on a piece of paper and comparing it against standard UK sizing charts to ensure a thumb's width of space at the toe.
Yes, the insoles are removable and can be swapped for custom orthotics if you require specific arch support.
The trainers utilize a combination of high-grade textiles and synthetic overlays to provide a balance of breathability and structural durability.
The grey and black palette is chosen for its durability; however, prolonged exposure to harsh direct sunlight can cause minor fading over time, so store in a cool, dark place.
Ensure the laces are tensioned correctly to allow for natural foot swelling throughout the day.
Use a damp microfiber cloth with a small amount of non-abrasive detergent to gently spot clean the area.
Remove the inner sockliner, ensure the interior floor of the shoe is free from debris, and re-insert ensuring it sits flat.
To ensure your ASICS Gel-NYC Utility trainers maintain their integrity, it is important to check the fitment carefully; they are sized for standard adult foot dimensions, with this specific model being a 7.5 UK. When cleaning, avoid machine washing or drying, as this can degrade the specialized adhesives and the GEL cushioning integrity. Instead, use a soft-bristled brush to remove surface dust, and clean stains with a damp cloth and mild soap. Allow them to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources, such as radiators, which can cause the materials to warp or crack over time.
