No, while they feature a durable utility design, they are not classified as waterproof.
These are primarily designed for lifestyle and everyday wear; for competitive running, a dedicated performance model is recommended.
ASICS standard sizing applies; ensure there is a thumb's width of space between your longest toe and the front of the shoe.
Yes, the insoles are typically removable if you require custom orthotics.
For daily wear, it is recommended to evaluate the cushioning and tread after approximately 300-500 miles of use.
Use a double knot or replace with slightly longer laces to ensure a more secure fit.
Remove the insoles and stuff the shoes with dry paper towels to absorb excess moisture.
Use a soft-bristled brush to gently remove surface debris once the dirt has dried.
To ensure your ASICS Gel-NYC Utility trainers maintain their condition, perform a quick wipe-down with a soft cloth after walking in dusty or damp conditions. Avoid machine washing or using harsh chemical cleaners, as these can compromise the integrity of the cushioning and upper materials. If the shoes become wet, allow them to air dry naturally in a well-ventilated area, away from direct heat sources like radiators. For optimal longevity, consider wearing them on alternate days to allow the internal cushioning materials to recover their shape.
