The shell of the jacket is made from recycled polyester ripstop. The lining is nylon, and the insulation fill consists of lightweight duck down and duck feathers.
Yes, the lightweight down and duck feather fill is designed to provide substantial warmth, making it suitable for cold conditions.
The jacket is machine washable. For best results, use a cold, delicate cycle with a mild detergent. Tumble dry on a low heat setting with tennis balls to fluff the down. Always check the care label for specific instructions.
The jacket is known to fit generously. We recommend considering sizing down from your usual size for a more tailored and optimal fit.
The ripstop shell offers some resistance to wind and light precipitation. The lined hood provides additional protection for your head and neck from the elements.
Yes, the jacket features three exterior zip pockets, designed to securely hold your belongings like a phone, keys, or wallet.
This jacket is noted to run large. If the fit is not ideal, consider exchanging it for one size smaller. Layering can also help fill out the space if you prefer a looser fit.
To restore the loft and even distribution of the down, tumble dry the jacket on a low heat setting with 2-3 clean tennis balls or dryer balls. This gentle agitation helps to break up clumps and fluff the down. Ensure the jacket is thoroughly dry to prevent mildew.
Apply a small amount of zipper lubricant (like a graphite pencil or beeswax) to the teeth of the zipper. Work the zipper up and down several times to distribute the lubricant. Ensure the fabric covering is not getting caught in the zipper mechanism.
This jacket requires no setup. Simply unpack and wear. It is designed for adult males and is compatible with a wide range of casual and smart-casual attire. For optimal longevity and to maintain the loft of the down fill, the jacket is machine washable. It is recommended to wash on a cold, delicate cycle with a mild detergent. When drying, tumble dry on a low heat setting, preferably with a few clean tennis balls or dryer balls. This helps to redistribute and fluff the down evenly, preventing clumping and restoring its insulating properties. Ensure the jacket is completely dry before storing to prevent mildew. Always refer to the care label inside the jacket for specific, detailed instructions.
