Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
Proper surface preparation is crucial for achieving the advertised one-coat coverage and durable finish. Always ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from loose material before painting. Follow the specific preparation steps outlined in the 'Performance & Real-World Use' section for walls, plaster, wood, and metal to ensure optimal adhesion and finish.
Compatibility:
This paint is designed for interior use on a wide array of surfaces, including walls, ceilings, and most indoor wood and metal items. It is important to note that while versatile, specific primers (basecoat for contrasting colors/bare plaster, specialist metal primer for ferrous metals) are necessary for certain applications to achieve the best results and ensure longevity. This product should not be thinned.
Care:
The Ronseal One Coat Everywhere paint is formulated to be stain resistant and washable, making general cleaning straightforward. For maintaining your painted surfaces, gently wipe with a damp cloth to remove marks and stains. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh scrubbing, as this can damage the matt finish. Store unused paint in a cool, dry place, ensuring the lid is tightly sealed to preserve freshness and usability.
