Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Ensure your workspace is well-ventilated. Lay down dust sheets to protect floors and furniture. Have all necessary tools ready: brushes, rollers, paint trays, masking tape, and cleaning rags. Stir the paint thoroughly before use to ensure consistent color and consistency.
Compatibility
This paint is designed for various interior surfaces. This includes:
- Walls and ceilings (plaster, plasterboard)
- Wood (skirting boards, doors, window frames)
- Metal (primed radiators, pipes)
- Other common interior substrates.
Always perform a small patch test on an inconspicuous area if you are unsure about compatibility, especially on previously painted or unusual surfaces.
Care & Maintenance
- Cleaning Tools: Clean brushes and rollers immediately after use with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and allow to dry.
- Storing Paint: Store the paint can in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and frost. Ensure the lid is tightly sealed to prevent the paint from drying out. If stored correctly, the paint will last for a significant period.
- Surface Cleaning: Once fully cured, wipe painted surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh abrasives or strong chemical cleaners, which can damage the matt finish.
