Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Prepare the Surface: Ensure walls and ceilings are clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, or loose material. Fill any cracks or holes and sand smooth. For new plaster or highly porous surfaces, apply a suitable primer or a mist coat of diluted emulsion.
- Stir the Paint: Thoroughly stir the paint before and during use to ensure consistent colour and texture.
- Application: Apply with a good quality synthetic brush or a medium pile roller suitable for emulsion paints. For best results, apply two coats, allowing adequate drying time between coats.
Compatibility
This paint is specifically formulated for interior walls and ceilings. It is compatible with most common building materials used for these surfaces, including plaster, plasterboard, and previously painted surfaces. Not recommended for use on floors or areas exposed to high moisture (e.g., inside showers) without a specialized bathroom paint.
Care
- Cleaning Tools: Clean brushes and rollers immediately after use with warm, soapy water.
- Cleaning Painted Surfaces: Once fully cured (typically 7-14 days), painted surfaces can be gently wiped clean with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh abrasives or strong detergents, as these can damage the matt finish.
- Storage: Store any leftover paint in its original container, tightly sealed, in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and frost. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
