FAQs

Are these shoes suitable for skating?

While inspired by 00s skate culture, these are lifestyle trainers. The suede construction provides some durability, but they are primarily designed for casual wear.

How do I keep the white laces clean?

You can remove the laces and soak them in warm soapy water or wash them in a mesh laundry bag on a gentle cycle.

Is the material waterproof?

No, the suede upper is not waterproof. We recommend applying a high-quality water-repellent spray before wearing them in inclement weather.

Do these fit true to size?

Yes, they generally fit true to size. If you have wider feet or prefer wearing thicker socks, consider sizing up by a half size.

Can I put these in the washing machine?

It is not recommended to machine wash these shoes, as the water and agitation can damage the suede material and loosen adhesives.

Troubleshooting

Suede looks dull or matted

Use a suede brush or a soft toothbrush to gently brush the fibers in one direction to restore the nap.

White midsole has scuff marks

Use a damp cloth with mild soap or a dedicated sneaker cleaner to wipe the rubber surface.

Shoes feel too tight initially

The padded tongue and collar will soften and conform to your foot shape after a few days of consistent wear.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Plush padding provides excellent long-term comfort
Versatile design that pairs easily with various casual styles
Durable rubber outsole offers reliable grip
Modern, chunky silhouette follows current footwear trends

Cons

Suede material is prone to staining and water damage
Bulkier design may feel heavy to users accustomed to lightweight running shoes
Requires regular cleaning to maintain the deep black colour

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Because these trainers feature a suede upper, proper care is essential to extend their lifespan.

Protective Spray: Before wearing, apply a water-and-stain repellent spray specifically designed for suede to create a protective barrier.
Cleaning: If the suede becomes dirty, use a soft-bristled brush to gently remove loose dust and dirt. Avoid getting the shoes excessively wet.
Storage: Keep them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent the black suede from fading.
Compatibility: These trainers fit true to size for most adults, though the internal padding provides a snug, secure fit. If you prefer extra room for thicker socks, some users recommend going up a half size.
