Surface Preparation
Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, sound, and free from loose paint, dirt, grease, and fungal growth. Scrape off any flaking paint. Fill any cracks or holes. Sand glossy surfaces to create a key. For bare or stained surfaces, a suitable primer may be beneficial, though Zinsser Allcoat often acts as a self-primer.
Application
Stir thoroughly before use. Apply with a good quality brush or roller. For spray application, dilute sparingly with water if necessary (check product label for specific instructions). Apply a minimum of two coats.
Compatibility
Compatible with most common exterior building materials, including wood, uPVC, metal (ferrous and non-ferrous), masonry, concrete, and composite cladding. Always test a small inconspicuous area first if unsure.
Drying & Recoat
Touch dry in approximately 1 hour. Recoat after 1 hour. Full hardness and weather resistance will develop over several days.
Care
Clean tools immediately after use with warm soapy water. Store paint in a cool, dry, frost-free environment, ensuring the lid is tightly sealed.
