FAQs

What are the exact dimensions of this mattress?

The mattress measures 120cm in length, 60cm in width, and 7.5cm in thickness.

Is the cover machine washable?

Yes, the cover is designed to be removed via a zipper and can be machine washed for easy hygiene maintenance.

Is this mattress safe for newborns?

Yes, the firm construction is designed to provide the necessary support for infants and meets safety standards for cot mattresses.

Does it contain foam?

No, this model uses a firm polyester core rather than foam, which enhances breathability.

How do I deal with minor stains on the core?

Wipe the area with a clean, damp cloth and mild soap. Allow the core to air dry completely before replacing the cover.

Can this mattress be used with a cot bed?

It is designed for standard 120x60cm cots. Please verify your cot's internal dimensions before purchase.

Troubleshooting

Cover is difficult to zip back on after washing

Ensure the cover is completely dry and flat; gently stretch the corners of the cover to align with the core edges before pulling the zipper.

Mattress feels too firm

This firmness is intentional for safety standards to support infant spinal development; do not add soft toppers as they pose a suffocation risk.

Small gaps between mattress and cot frame

Standardize your setup to ensure the mattress is pushed firmly into one corner and check that your cot meets current safety standards for a 120x60cm mattress.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Firm support promotes safe and healthy sleep posture
Hypoallergenic and dust-mite resistant materials
Waterproof cover protects against liquid damage
Easy-access zipper for simple cover removal and cleaning
Highly breathable for temperature regulation

Cons

Specific 120x60cm dimensions require an exact cot fit
Firmness level may be perceived as hard by some users
Only available in one standard size

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To set up your mattress, simply remove it from the packaging and allow it to sit in a well-ventilated area for a few hours before placing it into the cot frame. Ensure that the mattress sits flush against all four sides of the cot, leaving no gaps greater than 20mm for safety.

For maintenance, we recommend washing the cover in cold water on a gentle cycle. Always verify the cover is completely dry before re-zipping it onto the core to prevent any moisture buildup. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners on the mattress core; a simple damp cloth is usually sufficient for cleaning the polyester interior.
