Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: The Hoka Mafate Speed 2 requires no specific setup; it is ready to wear out of the box. Ensure you have chosen the correct size for a comfortable fit.
Compatibility: These trainers are designed primarily for trail running and hiking. While they can be used for walking on mixed surfaces, they are not optimized for road running. They are compatible with most types of athletic socks.
Care: To maintain the performance and longevity of your Mafate Speed 2:
- Cleaning: After each use, brush off loose dirt and debris. For deeper cleaning, use a damp cloth or a soft brush with cool water. Avoid using harsh detergents or abrasive cleaners.
- Drying: Remove insoles if possible and allow the shoes to air dry naturally at room temperature. Keep them away from direct heat sources like radiators or prolonged direct sunlight, which can damage the materials.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place when not in use. Avoid cramming them into tight spaces where they could be deformed.
