Setup
Upon first wear, ensure your foot is comfortably seated within the boot. Use the extended lacing system to achieve a secure and personalized fit. Lacing snugly but not too tightly will allow the leather to mold to your foot over time. A short break-in period may be beneficial to fully adapt the boots to your foot shape.
Compatibility
These boots are specifically designed for Soft Ground (SG) football pitches. They feature conical and bladed studs optimized for penetration and traction on wet, muddy natural grass. Using them on other surfaces, such as firm ground (FG), artificial grass (AG), or indoor courts, is not recommended as it can lead to accelerated wear, reduced performance, and potential injury. They are designed for adult unisex players.
Care
Proper care will extend the lifespan and maintain the performance of your Copa Pure III Elite SG boots:
- Cleaning after use: Immediately after play, wipe off any mud or dirt from the upper and soleplate using a damp cloth. Clean around the studs thoroughly.
- Drying: Do not dry the boots using direct heat sources (e.g., radiators, hairdryers) as this can damage the leather. Stuff them with newspaper to absorb moisture and maintain their shape, then allow them to air dry at room temperature.
- Leather Care: Periodically treat the leather upper with a specialized leather conditioner or cream to keep it supple and prevent cracking.
- Lacquer Wear: Be aware that the lacquer finish on the soleplate is cosmetic and will wear off during play. This is normal and does not affect the boot's performance or durability.
