Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Your adidas Copa Pure III Elite SG boots are ready to wear out of the box. For the optimal fit, loosen the extended lacing system completely, slide your foot in, and then tighten the laces from the bottom up, ensuring a snug yet comfortable wrap around your foot. Experiment with different lacing tensions to find what feels most secure and comfortable for your playing style.
Compatibility
These boots are specifically engineered for Soft Ground (SG) pitches. This means they are best suited for natural grass fields that are wet, muddy, or soft, where their conical and bladed studs can penetrate for maximum grip. Using them on firm ground, artificial turf, or hard surfaces may reduce performance and potentially damage the soleplate or cause discomfort. They are designed for adult, unisex use.
Care
To maintain the quality and longevity of your leather football boots:
- Cleaning: After each use, remove loose dirt and mud using a soft brush or cloth. Wipe the upper with a damp cloth. For tougher stains, use a mild leather cleaner specifically designed for football boots.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct heat sources like radiators or sunlight, as this can dry out and crack the leather.
- Conditioning: Periodically apply a leather conditioner to keep the leather supple and prevent cracking. Follow the product instructions for application.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place, ideally with boot trees or crumpled newspaper inside to help maintain their shape.
- Soleplate Wear: Please note, the lacquer finish on the bottom of the Comfortframe soleplate is designed to wear off during play. This is a normal cosmetic change and does not affect the boot's performance or durability.
