Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Sizing: Ensure you have chosen the correct size (UK 2 for this specific model) to maximize comfort and performance. Football boots should fit snugly, but not uncomfortably tight.
- Wearing: Use the dual pull tabs to easily slide your foot into the boot. Adjust the laces to achieve a secure, comfortable fit that locks your heel in place and prevents excessive foot movement inside the boot.
- Break-In Period: Like most performance footwear, these boots may require a short break-in period. Wear them during light training sessions or for shorter durations initially to allow the materials to adapt to your foot shape.
Compatibility
These boots are explicitly designed for Multi-Ground (FG/MG) surfaces. This means they are compatible with:
- Natural Firm Ground: Short-grass pitches that are slightly wet but rarely muddy.
- Artificial Grass (AG): Modern synthetic turf surfaces.
Do not use these boots on hard ground, indoor courts, or street surfaces, as this can damage the soleplate and compromise performance.
Care
- Cleaning: After each use, especially on muddy or artificial pitches, wipe down the boots with a damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. For tougher stains, a mild soap solution can be used. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Drying: Allow boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not place them near direct heat sources (like radiators or in direct sunlight) as this can cause the materials to crack or warp. Stuffing them with newspaper can help absorb moisture and maintain their shape.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Consider using a boot bag to protect them during transport.
- Inspection: Regularly check the studs for wear and tear, and ensure the laces are in good condition. Replacing worn laces can help maintain a secure fit.
