Yes, the New Balance 740 generally fits true to standard UK sizing for adults.
While inspired by 2000s runners, they are primarily designed as lifestyle shoes for daily wear rather than technical athletic training.
Gently scrub with a soft brush and a mixture of water and gentle soap, then let them air dry.
Yes, the outsole is designed to be suitable for indoor and outdoor use without leaving marks on most surfaces.
The shoes feature a stable midsole that offers balanced support appropriate for general daily activity.
Use a soft dry brush to gently remove loose debris, followed by a light spot-clean with a damp cloth and mild soap.
Ensure the laces are tied snugly to provide adequate arch support, or consider using custom orthotic insoles if additional support is needed.
Because these are standard lace-up trainers, no complex setup is required. Ensure you select the correct UK size, as the unisex fit is designed to be consistent with standard New Balance sizing. To maintain the trainers, avoid machine washing; instead, spot-clean the mesh using a soft-bristle brush and a mild detergent solution. For the overlays, a damp cloth is usually sufficient to remove surface dirt. Allow the shoes to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources, such as radiators, which can warp the materials or damage adhesives.
