The New Balance 740 Trainers are designed for individuals who appreciate a fusion of archival 2000s running aesthetics and modern street-ready comfort. These trainers provide a reliable, daily-wear experience featuring breathable materials and a supportive structure, though their heritage design focuses more on lifestyle utility than high-performance marathon speed.

While the 740 was originally designed as a daily runner, current iterations are primarily focused on lifestyle and casual use rather than intensive sports performance.
The New Balance 740 fits true to standard UK sizing. We recommend checking your size against your current pair of New Balance shoes for the most accurate match.
It is not recommended to wash these in a machine. Hand cleaning with a damp cloth and mild detergent is the safest way to maintain the integrity of the materials.
The New Balance 740 features a design that is widely worn across genders, and multiple sizes are available to accommodate different foot widths and preferences.
Treat the colored mesh with a gentle, non-bleaching cleaner and a soft cloth, dabbing lightly to avoid pushing dirt deeper into the fabric fibers.
Use a soft-bristled brush to gently remove surface dust, followed by a light wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap if needed.
Allow the shoes to rest for at least 24 hours between wears to let the cushioning material recover its shape.
To ensure your New Balance 740 trainers remain in top condition, it is recommended to keep them dry and away from extreme heat sources, which can compromise the foam in the midsole. For cleaning, gently brush away loose dirt with a soft-bristled brush. If the mesh gets stained, use a mild detergent mixed with lukewarm water and a damp cloth; avoid submerging the shoes in a washing machine, as this can degrade the adhesives and materials. Always allow them to air dry naturally at room temperature. Ensure you select the correct UK size, as the 740 is designed for a standard fit consistent with other New Balance models.
