No, the UA ARMR Shower Slide is designed for comfort and recovery, not for athletic performance activities like running. They lack the necessary support and stability for such uses.
Can I wear these in the shower?
Yes, these are specifically designed as shower slides, meaning they are water-resistant and easy to clean, making them suitable for use in showers, locker rooms, and by the pool.
How do I know if I have the right size?
It's recommended to measure your foot and consult the Under Armour sizing chart. Pay attention to the UK sizing provided. If possible, try them on before purchasing or check the seller's return policy for exchanges.
What is the main benefit of wearing shower slides?
Shower slides offer hygiene by protecting your feet in communal wet areas, and provide comfort and support for your feet after activities like exercise.
How durable are these slides?
Under Armour products are known for their quality. These slides are constructed with durable materials intended for regular wear, especially in casual and post-workout settings.
Can I wash these in a washing machine?
It is not recommended to machine wash these slides. Hand washing with a damp cloth and mild soap is the preferred method for cleaning.
What other colors are available?
While this specific model is Black/Black/White, Under Armour offers various slides in different colorways and styles. Please check the product listing or Under Armour's official site for other options.
Troubleshooting
Sizing feels incorrect
Refer to the Under Armour size chart and compare with your foot measurements. Consider the specific model's fit notes if available. If purchased online, check the retailer's return policy for exchanges.
Slides feel slippery on wet surfaces
While designed for wet environments, ensure the sole is not excessively worn. Always exercise caution on very slick surfaces. The textured footbed is designed to offer some grip.
Material has a strong odor
New footwear can sometimes have a manufacturing smell. Air the slides out in a well-ventilated area for 24-48 hours. The odor should dissipate.
