Johnstone's Wall & Ceiling Natural Sage Matt Paint - 2.5L

This Johnstone's Matt Emulsion is designed for interior walls and ceilings.

Coverage can vary, but typically two coats are recommended for best results. Excellent coverage may mean one coat is sufficient over a similar color.

The paint is quick drying. Drying times between coats are usually a few hours, but always check the specific instructions on the paint can.

This is a standard matt emulsion. For high-moisture areas like bathrooms, a vinyl matt or silk emulsion specifically designed for such environments is usually recommended for better durability and moisture resistance.

Clean brushes, rollers, and any other equipment with water immediately after use.

Wipe gently with a damp, soft cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or scrubbing aggressively, as this can damage the matt finish.

Most modern emulsions have low VOCs and a minimal odor, but it's always best to ensure good ventilation during application and drying.

Ensure the paint was stirred thoroughly. Apply in consistent, overlapping strokes. Check for surface imperfections that may be absorbing paint unevenly.

Surface preparation may have been inadequate. Ensure the surface was clean, dry, and properly primed if necessary. Remove any loose paint and reapply.

Allow the paint to dry completely. Color can appear different when wet versus dry. If significantly different, a test patch in a discreet area might be advisable for future projects.

Matt emulsions are less scrubbable than gloss finishes. For light marks, use a slightly damp cloth and gentle pressure. Avoid harsh chemicals or vigorous scrubbing.
