The Johnstone's Dark Angel Matt Emulsion Tester Pot is designed for homeowners and DIY enthusiasts who want to visualize the 'Dark Angel' shade before committing to a full-scale renovation. This 75ml tester allows you to evaluate how the deep, non-reflective matte finish interacts with your specific room lighting and existing decor, though the small volume is intended strictly for sampling and not for covering large areas.

It is designed to cover an area of approximately 30cm square.
No, this product is specifically formulated for walls and ceilings.
Matte finishes are generally less scrubbable than satin or gloss paints, so clean carefully with a damp cloth if necessary.
Two coats are recommended to accurately judge the depth and true shade of the color.
On most standard wall surfaces, a primer is not strictly necessary, but it may help if you are painting over a very dark or highly porous surface.
You can purchase the full 2.5L Johnstone's Dark Angel Matt Emulsion to ensure a consistent finish across your room.
Apply a second thin coat once the first is touch-dry to improve coverage and color consistency.
Use a flat-head screwdriver to gently pry the edge of the lid around the rim rather than pulling from one side.
Ensure your wall surface is clean, dry, and free of loose debris before applying the tester. Shake the pot well before opening to ensure the pigment is evenly distributed. Use a standard high-quality paintbrush for the test area to simulate the finish of a full application. The paint is compatible with standard wall and ceiling surfaces; however, it is not designed for wood or metal. Once the test patch has dried, evaluate the color under different lighting conditions. Store any remaining paint in a cool, dry place with the lid tightly secured to prevent the emulsion from drying out.
