Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Lacing: Ensure the laces are tightened evenly from toe to ankle. The mid-cut knit collar is designed for a snug fit, and proper lacing ensures your foot is securely locked in, preventing slippage and providing optimal support.
- Break-in Period: Like all new football boots, these may require a short break-in period. Wear them for a few light training sessions before a competitive match to allow them to mold to your feet.
Compatibility
- Playing Surfaces: The FGMG soleplate is specifically designed for versatility, offering excellent traction and pressure distribution on both `Firm Ground` (natural grass) and `Multi-Ground` (artificial grass) surfaces. Avoid using them on harder surfaces like concrete or indoor courts, as this can damage the studs and reduce their effectiveness.
- Foot Type: The internal sockliner is shaped to provide more support for players with narrower heels and higher arches. If you have wider feet or flatter arches, try them on to ensure comfort and support.
Care
To ensure your adidas F50 League Mid FG MG boots last and perform optimally, follow these care tips:
- Cleaning After Use: After each use, remove loose dirt and mud by gently tapping the boots together. Use a soft brush or cloth with lukewarm water to wipe down the upper and soleplate. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Drying: Allow boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not expose them to direct heat sources (e.g., radiators, hairdryers) as this can damage the materials and cause them to crack or shrink. Stuffing them with newspaper can help absorb moisture and maintain their shape.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. A boot bag can protect them from scratches and keep them clean.
- Avoid Machine Washing: Never put your football boots in a washing machine or tumble dryer, as this can severely damage the construction and materials.
