Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- First Wear: When first using your new F50 League boots, wear them for short periods during training sessions to allow them to mold to your feet. This 'break-in' period helps prevent discomfort during a full match.
- Lacing: Experiment with different lacing patterns to find the fit that provides the most secure and comfortable feel for your foot and ankle. Ensure laces are snug but not overly tight.
Compatibility
- Playing Surface: These boots are specifically designed for Firm Ground (FG) surfaces. This typically refers to natural grass pitches that are dry and firm. Using them on other surfaces like artificial turf (AG) or soft ground (SG) may compromise performance, durability, and your safety.
- Fit: Designed with a women's specific fit, ensuring comfort and performance tailored to female players.
Care
Maintaining your boots properly will extend their lifespan and performance:
- Immediate Cleaning: After every use, gently knock off any loose dirt or mud. Use a soft brush or cloth to wipe down the Fiberskin upper and Sprintplate 360 outsole.
- Stubborn Dirt: For tougher grime, use a damp cloth with a mild soap solution. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the boot's materials or print.
- Drying: Allow your boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not use direct heat sources like radiators or hair dryers, as this can cause the materials to crack or warp.
- Odor Control: Remove insoles to air them out after each use. Consider using shoe deodorizers or stuffing newspaper inside the boots to absorb moisture and odors.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Consider using a boot bag for transport and protection.
- Product Labels: Always refer to the specific product label and care label attached to your boots for detailed cleaning and maintenance instructions unique to their composition.
