Full details
Designed for young footballers seeking explosive speed and agility on artificial turf, the adidas F50 Club TF combines a lightweight build with a grippy, specialized outsole for quick direction changes and acceleration. FAQs
Can these boots be used on natural grass fields?
No, the adidas F50 Club TF boots are specifically designed with a `non-marking rubber outsole` for optimal performance and traction on `TF (Turf Football)` surfaces (artificial grass). Using them on natural grass can reduce grip and may damage the sole.
How do I determine the correct size for my child?
It is best to refer to the adidas size chart and measure your child's foot length. When trying them on, ensure there is about a thumb's width space between the longest toe and the end of the boot for comfort and growth, but not so much that the foot slides inside.
Are these boots waterproof?
The `lightweight synthetic upper` offers some water resistance for light damp conditions, but these boots are not fully waterproof. For very wet conditions, water may penetrate the material.
What is the benefit of the recycled materials in these boots?
These boots are made with at least 20% recycled materials, which helps reduce waste and lessen the environmental impact associated with producing new materials. It's a step towards more sustainable product manufacturing.
How should I clean the white sections of the boot if they get dirty?
For `Ftwr White` sections, immediately after use, wipe with a damp cloth and a small amount of mild soap. A soft brush can help gently scrub away dirt. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, which can damage the synthetic material.
Do these boots require any special break-in period?
Thanks to their `lightweight synthetic upper`, these boots generally require minimal break-in compared to traditional leather boots. However, wearing them for a few shorter sessions before competitive play can help them conform to the foot and ensure maximum comfort.
Troubleshooting
Poor grip or slipping on turf.
Ensure the outsole is clean and free of turf pellets or mud. Brush the `non-marking rubber outsole` thoroughly. If the surface is excessively wet, some slippage may be unavoidable, but the TF outsole is designed for optimal performance in most turf conditions.
Foot discomfort or rubbing.
Check your lacing; it might be too tight or too loose. Adjust the `lace closure` to provide a snug yet comfortable fit. Ensure you are wearing appropriate football socks. The `ergonomic padding around the ankle` is designed to minimize irritation, but proper sizing is also crucial.
Feet feel hot or sweaty during play.
The `perforated floating tongue` provides ventilation, but wearing moisture-wicking football socks can further help manage sweat. Ensure boots are not laced excessively tight, which can restrict air flow. Allow boots to air dry completely after each use.
Boots feel too stiff or uncomfortable initially.
While synthetic boots require less break-in than leather, wear them for a few short training sessions or walks before a full match. This allows the `lightweight synthetic upper` to mold to the foot and become more pliable.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Exceptional Turf Performance: Specifically designed for optimal grip and speed on artificial turf.
- Lightweight Agility: Construction prioritizes low weight for fast movements and explosive acceleration.
- Comfortable Fit: Features like ergonomic ankle padding and a breathable tongue enhance in-game comfort.
- Enhanced Stability: External heel counter aids in maintaining balance and control during dynamic play.
- Sustainable Choice: Incorporates recycled materials, reducing environmental impact.
- Durable Synthetic Upper: Resilient material suitable for the rigors of youth football.
Cons
- Turf-Specific Use: Not suitable for natural grass or indoor surfaces, limiting versatility.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Lacing: Ensure the laces are securely and evenly tied. The `lace closure` allows for a personalized fit. Adjust tightness to provide comfort and secure foot lockdown without restricting circulation.
- Initial Wear: It's advisable to wear the boots for short periods before a full match to break them in, though the synthetic upper is generally flexible and requires minimal break-in.
Compatibility
- Surface: These boots are designed exclusively for TF (Turf Football) surfaces, commonly known as artificial grass or astro turf. The non-marking rubber outsole is optimized for grip on these specific pitches.
- Incompatible Surfaces: Do NOT use these boots on natural grass, firm ground (FG), soft ground (SG), or indoor court (IC) surfaces, as this can damage the outsole and compromise performance and safety.
- Age Group: These F50 Club TF boots are designed for kids (youth players).
Care Instructions
- Cleaning the Upper: After each use, wipe the `textured synthetic upper` with a damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. For tougher stains, use a mild soap solution and a soft brush, then wipe clean.
- Cleaning the Outsole: Brush off any turf pellets, mud, or dirt from the `non-marking rubber outsole`. A stiff brush can be effective for clearing debris from the studs.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct sunlight or artificial heat sources (like radiators or hair dryers) as this can damage the synthetic materials and adhesives.
- Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area. Avoid storing them in plastic bags where moisture can accumulate.
- Odor Control: If odors develop, remove insoles and allow them to air dry separately. Shoe deodorizers can also be used.
- Recycled Materials: While made with at least 20% recycled materials, the care instructions remain the same as for conventional synthetic football boots to ensure longevity.
