The Asics GT-2160 is an adult lifestyle trainer designed for individuals who appreciate the technical aesthetics of the early 2010s running era combined with modern everyday comfort. By blending heritage design cues with advanced cushioning technology, these shoes provide a supportive experience for daily wear, though the premium leather construction may require a brief break-in period compared to pure synthetic alternatives.

While they utilize heritage performance technology, they are designed primarily as lifestyle trainers for daily wear rather than technical long-distance running.
Use a damp, soft cloth to wipe away dirt. Avoid using chemical cleaners that may damage the leather finish.
Yes, they generally follow standard adult UK sizing, though the structure of the shoe may feel more structured than modern knit trainers.
No, the GEL technology is embedded within the midsole and does not require manual maintenance beyond standard wear and care.
Yes, the provided insoles are typically removable, allowing you to insert custom orthotics if preferred.
Wear the shoes for short intervals indoors to allow the leather to naturally conform to your foot shape.
Gently clean the affected area using a soft-bristled brush or a cloth dampened with mild, diluted soapy water.
Because these trainers feature leather components, it is recommended to apply a leather-safe water repellent spray before first use to protect against stains and moisture. To ensure proper fit, wear the socks you intend to pair with the shoes to account for the internal volume. For cleaning, wipe the leather surfaces with a slightly damp, soft cloth. Avoid submerging the trainers in water or using harsh detergents, as this can degrade the adhesive and the texture of the leather. Air dry the shoes away from direct heat sources, such as radiators, to maintain the structural integrity of the GEL inserts and upper materials.
