These Nike Tiempo Legend 10 Academy boots are specifically designed for Firm Ground (FG) pitches. This means natural grass fields that are dry or slightly damp. They are not recommended for artificial turf or soft ground.
After use, remove loose dirt with a soft brush or damp cloth. For tougher grime, use a mild soap solution and a soft cloth, then wipe clean with a damp cloth. Allow them to air dry naturally, away from direct heat.
Yes, these boots are perfect for players of all skill levels, including beginners. Their exceptional comfort, secure fit, and enhanced touch features provide a great foundation for developing skills on the pitch.
FlyTouch Lite is Nike's innovative engineered leather designed to provide superior softness, breathability, and adaptability. It offers a premium feel similar to traditional leather but with potentially enhanced durability and lighter weight characteristics.
The micro-dots are strategically placed texture amplifications in key touch zones on the upper. They increase friction between your foot and the ball, providing enhanced grip and a more precise feel, which aids in better ball control, dribbling, and passing accuracy.
Thanks to the soft FlyTouch Lite engineered leather and cushioned interior, these boots offer comfort almost immediately. A short break-in period of 1-2 light sessions is recommended to allow them to fully conform to your foot's unique shape.
Ensure you've laced them properly, starting from the bottom and working up, allowing for an even distribution of pressure. Give them a few light training sessions to break in, as the FlyTouch Lite leather will mold to your foot over time. If discomfort persists, re-evaluate your size.
Verify that you are playing on a firm ground surface, which these boots are designed for. The stud configuration is optimized for natural grass. If the pitch is excessively wet or muddy, you might require boots with a soft ground (SG) soleplate for better traction.
Ensure you are using the boots on appropriate firm ground surfaces only. Playing on abrasive surfaces like artificial turf or concrete can significantly accelerate wear. Regular cleaning and proper drying will also extend the lifespan of the leather.
Try a double knot for added security. You can also experiment with different lacing techniques that provide a tighter lock, such as loop lacing or heel lock lacing, to keep them secure throughout the game.
