Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Lacing: Ensure you lace the boots securely, but not overly tight. A lace-up design allows for personalized fit. Experiment with different lacing patterns to find what feels most comfortable and secure for your foot.
- Break-in Period: Like most new boots, the Goletto may require a short break-in period. Wear them for a few short sessions before playing a full match to allow them to conform to your foot shape.
Compatibility
These boots are specifically designed for firm ground (FG) natural grass pitches. The stud configuration is optimized to provide excellent traction and stability on these surfaces. Do NOT use these boots on artificial turf (AG) or soft ground (SG), as it can damage the boots and increase the risk of injury.
Care
Proper care will extend the life and performance of your Goletto boots:
- Cleaning After Use: After each use, remove loose mud and dirt with a soft brush or cloth. For stubborn dirt, use a damp cloth with mild soap. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not use direct heat sources like radiators or hair dryers, as this can damage the synthetic and leather materials.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Consider using boot trees or stuffing them with newspaper to help maintain their shape.
- Material Composition: The upper consists of synthetic and leather, while the lining is textile and the outer sole is synthetics. This combination requires consistent cleaning to prevent material breakdown and odor.
