FAQs

What type of light bulb should I use?

The pendant light requires one E27 (ES) bulb, with a maximum wattage of 60W. For aesthetic appeal and energy efficiency, a decorative LED filament bulb is often a suitable choice.

Can this pendant light be used with a dimmer switch?

Yes, the Task Pendant Light is compatible with most standard dimmer switches, provided that the light bulb installed is also dimmable.

How do I adjust the hanging height of the pendant?

The hanging height can be adjusted by shortening the cotton braided cable. This typically involves accessing the cable within the ceiling rose or light fitting.

Is assembly required?

The pendant light itself is largely assembled, but it requires installation by a qualified electrician to connect it to your home's wiring.

What are the dimensions of the shade?

The dimensions of the shade are not provided in the product information, but it is described as streamlined.

How do I clean the Olive Green shade?

Wipe the spun aluminium shade with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals to maintain the finish.

Troubleshooting

Light does not turn on

Ensure the bulb is correctly screwed in. Check that the light switch is on and the circuit breaker is not tripped. Verify wiring connections if recently installed.

Flickering light

This could indicate a loose bulb, a failing bulb, or an issue with the dimmer switch. Try replacing the bulb first. If the problem persists, check the dimmer compatibility or consult an electrician.

Uneven illumination

Ensure the pendant is centered over the desired area. The Task pendant is designed for focused light, so supplementary ambient lighting may be needed for broad coverage.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
