The Mountain Warehouse Torrent Taped Seam Waterproof Jacket is an ideal choice for active kids who need reliable protection during outdoor play in unpredictable weather. With a 2000mm waterproof rating and durable taped seams, it excels at keeping children dry during light to moderate rain showers. While it provides excellent protection, users should note that as a lightweight jacket, it is best suited for layering during colder months rather than providing significant thermal insulation on its own.

Yes, it is machine washable. Ensure you close all zips and use a gentle, cool cycle to protect the waterproof coating.
No, the hood is integrated into the design to ensure maximum waterproof protection.
It is water-resistant, but it is not insulated or designed for heavy snow or extreme winter conditions. It is best used as a rain shell.
This means the fabric can withstand the pressure of a 2000mm water column before any water begins to seep through, making it ideal for light to moderate rain.
Sizes are based on standard age ranges. If you plan on layering thick jumpers underneath, you may want to consider sizing up.
If the water stops beading, the DWR coating may need refreshing; try re-treating with a wash-in waterproofing product.
Check the track for fabric snags or debris; clean with a soft brush and consider applying a tiny amount of candle wax to the teeth.
This jacket is designed for immediate use right out of the package. To ensure longevity, always zip up the jacket and close the cuffs before washing. Use a mild detergent and wash on a cool, gentle cycle. Avoid using fabric softeners, as these can strip the waterproof coating from the nylon. To maintain its effectiveness, it is recommended to air dry the garment away from direct heat sources like radiators. Because of its lightweight nature, it is fully compatible with layering systems, easily fitting over sweaters or hoodies for colder conditions.
