Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Sizing: Ensure you have selected the correct UK size 7 for an optimal fit. Football boots should fit snugly, but not uncomfortably tight.
- Lacing: Lace your boots securely from bottom to top, ensuring even pressure across your foot. A well-laced boot enhances the locked-in feel provided by the knitted collar.
- First Use: Consider wearing your new boots during a light training session or warm-up to allow them to adapt to your foot shape before a full match.
Compatibility
- Surface: These boots are specifically designed for firm ground (FG) pitches. This typically includes natural grass fields that are dry or slightly damp.
- Avoid: Using these boots on artificial turf (AG), soft ground (SG), or indoor surfaces is not recommended, as it can compromise traction, accelerate wear, and potentially lead to injury.
Care
Proper care will extend the life and performance of your boots:
- Cleaning: After each use, remove loose dirt and mud from the upper and soleplate using a soft brush or cloth. For stubborn dirt, use a damp cloth with mild soap.
- Drying: Allow your boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct heat sources like radiators or sunlight, as this can damage the synthetic materials.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
- Refer to Product Label: Always consult the specific care instructions on the product label for any additional guidance.
