Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup
- Lacing: Loosen the laces completely upon first wear. Insert your foot, ensuring your heel is snug at the back of the boot. Begin lacing from the bottom, pulling each section firm but not overly tight. Double-knot for security.
- Break-in: It's recommended to wear the boots for a few short training sessions or casual use before a full match to allow them to mold to the foot and prevent discomfort.
Compatibility
These boots feature a Sprintplate 360 FGMG (Firm Ground/Multi-Ground) outsole, making them suitable for:
- Natural Grass Pitches: Specifically firm ground (FG) surfaces.
- Artificial Grass Pitches: Including 3G and 4G surfaces.
They are not recommended for indoor courts, artificial turf (AG, often shorter pile), or very soft/muddy natural grass.
Care Instructions
- Cleaning After Each Use: After every session, wipe dirt and debris from the upper with a damp cloth. Use a brush (non-abrasive) to clean mud from the studs and soleplate.
- Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use strong detergents, washing machines, or tumble dryers, as these can damage materials and adhesives.
- Drying: Remove insoles if possible and allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct sunlight or artificial heat sources (like radiators), which can cause the materials to crack or warp.
- Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Consider using boot trees or stuffing with newspaper to help maintain their shape and absorb moisture.
