The Trespass Kirkbost Padded Waterproof Jacket is an ideal choice for adult men who need a versatile, weather-resistant outer layer for outdoor activities. Its primary benefit is the combination of thermal padding and waterproof features that keep you warm and dry during damp conditions, though it is important to note that the jacket is constructed from polyester, which may require specific care to maintain its water-repellent properties over time.

Yes, it can be machine washed, but it is recommended to use a gentle cycle with technical clothing detergent and avoid fabric softeners.
Yes, the jacket features a convenient zip-off hood that can be detached when not in use.
The hem adjusters are hidden inside the bottom of the jacket; pull the toggles to tighten the fit and lock them in place to prevent heat loss.
The jacket provides excellent wind and water protection, but as it is a padded polyester garment, it is best suited for moderate activity rather than high-intensity exertion.
The pockets are secure and designed to protect your belongings from rain, but they are not strictly rated as submersible waterproof.
The DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating may have worn off; apply a waterproof reproofing spray specifically for synthetic fabrics.
Clean any debris or grit from the zipper teeth using a soft brush, and apply a light silicone lubricant if necessary.
To keep your Kirkbost jacket in peak condition, always ensure all zippers are closed before placing the garment in the wash to prevent snags. Use a mild detergent designed for technical outerwear, and avoid using fabric softeners, as these can strip the waterproof coating. The jacket is designed for a standard fit; if you intend to wear thick mid-layers or heavy sweaters underneath, consider your sizing requirements carefully. Air dry the jacket in a shaded, well-ventilated area to protect the integrity of the polyester material.
