Setup, Compatibility & Care
First Use and Break-In
While there's no complex 'setup' for football boots, an initial break-in period is recommended. Wear the boots during light training sessions or for short periods around the house before a full match. This allows the synthetic upper and knitted collar to adapt to your foot shape, maximizing comfort and preventing discomfort.
Compatibility
- Playing Surfaces: These boots feature an FG/AG (Firm Ground/Artificial Grass) outsole, making them suitable for use on most natural grass pitches that are not excessively soft or muddy, and all types of artificial turf.
- Fit: Engineered with specific measurements for a female fit, these boots are designed to provide optimal comfort and performance for women. While adaptable, those with significantly different foot profiles might find the fit more specialized.
Care Instructions
Proper care will extend the life and maintain the performance of your PUMA Future 8 Pro boots:
- Cleaning after Use: After each session, remove any loose dirt and mud from the soleplate and upper. A soft brush or damp cloth is usually sufficient. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not expose them to direct heat sources like radiators or direct sunlight, as this can damage the synthetic materials and adhesives.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place, ideally with some air circulation. Using boot trees or stuffing them with newspaper can help maintain their shape and absorb moisture.
- Product Label: For detailed and specific care instructions, always refer to the care instructions available on the product label inside the boot.
