The Puma Velocity Nitro 5 typically follows standard athletic sizing; however, individual fit can vary, so ensure you check the UK size guide before purchase.
These shoes are designed specifically for road and treadmill surfaces. They lack the lug depth and protective chassis required for uneven, technical trails.
Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth and mild soap. Never submerge the shoes in water or put them in a dryer, as this can damage the foam cushioning.
Nitro is Puma's advanced foam technology, injected with nitrogen to provide superior responsiveness, lightweight cushioning, and high energy return.
Yes, the cushioning properties of the Nitro foam are specifically engineered to provide impact absorption and comfort over longer distances.
Adjust your lacing pattern using the top eyelet to create a runner's loop for a more secure heel lock.
Use a soft-bristled brush to gently remove rocks or dirt trapped in the outsole tread pattern after each run.
To ensure the longest lifespan for your trainers, avoid machine washing or drying. Clean the exterior by wiping with a damp cloth and mild soap, then allow them to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources. Ensure you have the correct UK size for your foot shape to prevent friction; if you frequently wear thick technical running socks, you may find that sticking to your standard size provides a snug, performance-oriented fit. Replace your trainers every 300 to 500 miles, depending on your running surface and individual gait, to maintain the integrity of the cushioning.
