The Dr. Martens Spence Zip ankle boot is designed for adults who seek a bold, elevated aesthetic without sacrificing the brand's legendary durability. Featuring a distinctive flared heel and a convenient side zip, these boots offer a sophisticated take on classic chunky footwear; however, the structured leather build requires a standard break-in period to achieve maximum comfort during extended wear.

While the leather is durable, they are not fully waterproof. It is recommended to use a protective spray to guard against water and stains.
Use a soft-bristled brush with a mild soap solution to gently scrub the yellow thread without damaging the leather.
Yes, they generally fit true to standard UK sizes. If you are between sizes, we recommend sizing up to accommodate thicker socks.
Yes, the insoles can be removed if you require custom orthotics or wish to replace them with a fresh pair.
Store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent the leather from drying out or fading.
This is normal for high-quality leather; use a leather conditioner to soften the material and wear them for short intervals until fully broken in.
Clear any debris or grit from the zipper track and apply a small amount of zipper lubricant or a paraffin wax candle to the teeth to improve glide.
To ensure your Spence Zip boots last, proper care is essential. Since they are constructed from smooth leather, clean them regularly by wiping away dirt with a damp cloth. For protection, apply a high-quality leather balsam or cream to maintain the suppleness of the material and prevent cracking.
Compatibility-wise, these boots feature a standard UK sizing structure. We recommend wearing them with slightly thicker socks during the first few wears to protect your ankles as the leather softens and conforms to your unique foot shape.
