The Dr. Martens Jesy Sendal boots are designed for individuals who want a bold, statement aesthetic without sacrificing the durability associated with the brand. These ankle-height boots provide a towering silhouette thanks to their unique flared Ardern sole, making them an excellent choice for fashion-forward casual wear; however, the elevated heel means they require a brief adjustment period for those accustomed to traditional flat Dr. Martens soles.

Yes, they generally follow standard UK sizing, but if you intend to wear very thick socks, you may want to consider your standard fit preferences.
Wipe away dirt with a damp cloth and apply a neutral leather shoe polish or balm to restore the shine and protect the material.
The Ardern sole is a specific design element; while a professional cobbler may be able to perform repairs, standard replacement soles may not match the original aesthetic.
While durable, the elevated heel is more demanding than a flat boot. It is recommended to assess your comfort level with heels before planning all-day activity.
Dr. Martens typically offers a standard fit. If you have specific width requirements, it is best to try them on to ensure a comfortable fit in the arch and toe box.
Clear any dust from the zipper tracks and apply a small amount of silicone lubricant or rub a pencil lead along the teeth to improve sliding.
Wear the boots for short durations initially and utilize thick socks to protect high-friction areas until the leather softens to your foot shape.
Because these boots feature a side-zip closure, ensure the zipper path is kept free of debris to maintain smooth operation. To care for the leather, use a damp cloth to remove surface dirt, followed by a high-quality leather cream to keep the material supple and prevent cracking. Store the boots in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to avoid leather fading. If the sole becomes worn, consult a professional cobbler, as the specific flared geometry is central to the boot's structure and aesthetic.
