Dulux Easycare Kitchen Matt is a specialized water-based emulsion designed for homeowners who need a durable, high-traffic wall solution for kitchens. Its primary benefit is a grease-proof and stain-resistant formulation that stands up to daily cooking activities while remaining washable without color fading. Note that while highly durable, color perception can vary based on lighting, so testing a patch on your specific wall is recommended before full application.

Yes, Dulux Easycare Kitchen Matt is specifically formulated to be tough enough for both kitchen walls and ceilings.
While it is designed for kitchens, its moisture and stain-resistant properties often make it suitable for areas prone to humidity; however, Dulux offers specialized bathroom-specific products if extreme steam is a concern.
You should wait at least 5 hours between applying the first and second coats.
It is a water-based emulsion, which makes cleanup much easier compared to oil-based paints.
Use a damp cloth to wipe away surface stains; the finish is designed to be washed without fading.
As long as the surface is clean, dry, and free of loose material, you can apply directly, though porous or previously painted surfaces might benefit from a standard primer for the best finish.
Ensure the surface was properly primed and use a high-quality roller to maintain a wet edge while painting.
Always mix paint from different cans together in a large container before application to ensure a uniform shade.
The product is opaque, but significant color changes may require more than the standard two coats; allow the first to dry completely before applying the third.
Before starting, ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free of any loose or flaking material. For best results, use a high-quality brush or roller. If using multiple cans, it is recommended to mix them in a large container before starting to ensure absolute color consistency across the entire wall. Store the paint in a dry environment protected from extreme cold or heat. When finished, wipe excess paint from your tools with a cloth and wash them thoroughly with water. If you have leftover paint, please consider donating it to a local Community RePaint collection point to support sustainable practices.
