The Dulux Easycare Kitchen Paint is designed for homeowners looking to protect high-traffic culinary spaces with a durable, low-maintenance finish. This specialist paint provides a robust, grease-resistant barrier that keeps walls looking vibrant while resisting common kitchen stains, making it an excellent choice for busy households; however, users should note that achieving optimal durability and finish opacity typically requires a full two-coat application.

This formula is specifically optimized for kitchens; for bathrooms, we recommend using a dedicated bathroom paint with anti-mould properties.
This paint is formulated for walls and ceilings. Using it on kitchen cabinets may not provide the necessary adhesion or durability required for high-touch wooden surfaces.
Refer to the drying times listed on the back of your specific paint tin, as conditions such as humidity and temperature can affect drying speed.
It is highly grease-resistant, meaning it resists staining better than standard emulsions, but it should still be cleaned promptly after a spill occurs.
Yes, provided the existing paint is sound, clean, and not flaking. If the existing surface is glossy, lightly sand it first to ensure proper adhesion.
The paint is designed for a two-coat system. Apply a second coat once the first is fully dry to achieve an even, opaque finish.
Ensure you are using a soft, damp cloth and gentle pressure. Avoid harsh scrubbing or abrasive cleaners which can damage the protective matt layer.
Before starting, ensure your wall surface is clean, dry, and free of dust or loose debris. Use a high-quality brush or roller for application. Apply the first coat evenly and allow it to dry completely according to the drying time instructions on the tin before applying the second coat. This second layer is essential for activating the full grease-resistant properties of the formula. For care, avoid using abrasive sponges or harsh chemical cleaners, as these can damage the paint film; a soft, damp cloth is sufficient for routine cleaning.
