Yes, the hood is both adjustable and detachable, allowing you to change the jacket's look based on the weather.
Spot clean minor marks with a damp cloth; for deep cleaning, follow the manufacturer's care instructions for delicate cycle washing.
Fill power measures the fluffiness or loft of the down; 750 is a high rating, indicating excellent insulation and warmth relative to weight.
The jacket features external zippered pockets including a vertical chest pocket; it is primarily designed for external storage.
The jacket is water-resistant, meaning it can handle light rain or snow, but it is not intended for heavy, prolonged downpours.
The Carly Down Jacket is designed with a relaxed fit, so it may feel slightly roomy depending on your preferred style.
This is common with down garments; gently pull the feather back into the jacket from the inside rather than pulling it through the fabric to avoid enlarging the hole.
Tumble dry the jacket on low heat with dryer balls to fluff the down and restore its original insulating volume.
To maximize the lifespan of your jacket, always refer to the internal care label for specific washing instructions. Because this garment contains real down, it is typically recommended to machine wash on a delicate cycle with a mild detergent and dry with clean tennis balls to help restore loft. Avoid using harsh chemicals or bleach that could damage the polyester shell. When not in use, store the jacket in a cool, dry place on a sturdy hanger to keep the shape and prevent the down from becoming compressed over long periods.
