Yes, you can machine wash it on a cool, gentle cycle with mild detergent.
Yes, the hood is detachable, allowing you to remove it during drier days or if preferred.
It is water-resistant and warm, but it is not specifically designed as a heavy-duty ski jacket for extreme, prolonged snow exposure.
This refers to the water pressure the fabric can withstand before moisture begins to penetrate, making it sufficient for light to moderate rain.
Yes, the jacket features taped seams to prevent water from leaking through the stitching.
The DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating may have worn off. Apply a technical re-proofing spray to the outer shell and tumble dry on a low setting if the care label allows.
Gently clean any debris or dirt from the zipper teeth using a soft brush, then apply a small amount of clear candle wax or a graphite pencil to the teeth to lubricate them.
To keep your Trespass Franzz jacket in top condition, follow these care guidelines: Always close all zippers before washing to protect the hardware. Wash on a gentle cycle using a mild detergent, preferably one formulated for waterproof gear. Avoid using fabric softeners, as these can degrade the waterproof coating. The jacket is designed for standard use; however, avoid contact with abrasive surfaces to prevent pilling of the polyester shell. Ensure the garment is completely dry before storage to prevent mold or mildew growth.
