Troubleshooting
Curtain develops mildew
Ensure adequate bathroom ventilation. Wash the curtain regularly according to care instructions. Ensure the curtain is fully dry after showering or washing before allowing it to remain closed.
Water still splashing out
Check that the weighted hem is hanging correctly and not obstructed. Ensure the curtain is fully extended to cover the opening. Adjust the curtain's position if needed.
Curtain material feels stiff after washing
Tumble dry on low heat with a clean towel. Avoid over-drying. If stiffness persists, a gentle fabric softener can be used sparingly during the wash cycle, though this may slightly reduce water repellency over time.
Hooks are difficult to attach/detach
Ensure the curtain grommets are aligned properly with the hooks. If sticking, a small amount of silicone lubricant can be applied to the rod, not the hooks or curtain.
