FAQs
Are these shoes suitable for running?
While the GEL-1130 is inspired by performance designs from 2008, it is marketed as a lifestyle trainer and is best suited for walking and casual daily use rather than competitive running.
Is the sizing true to size?
Yes, the GEL-1130 generally fits consistent with standard ASICS sizing for adults. Using the provided sockliner system helps maintain a snug, comfortable fit.
Can the insoles be replaced?
Yes, the sockliner is designed to be removable if you wish to swap it for a custom orthotic insole.
What materials are used in the construction?
The trainers feature a mix of durable synthetic materials and textiles designed for breathability and structural integrity.
How do I maintain the blue and silver colorway?
Keep the shoes away from harsh cleaning chemicals. Spot clean with water and mild soap to protect the fabric finish and color vibrancy.
Troubleshooting
Sockliner feels loose or uncomfortable
Ensure the sockliner is seated correctly inside the shoe. If it has shifted, remove it, clean out any debris from the footbed, and reinsert it flat.
Material looks dusty or dull
Gently brush the upper with a soft-bristled brush to remove dust. If necessary, use a mild soap solution with a damp cloth, avoiding saturation of the materials.

Care Instructions:
- Cleaning: Use a soft brush or a slightly damp cloth to wipe away surface dirt after use.
- Drying: Air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid placing the shoes near direct heat sources like radiators, as this can degrade the materials.
- Storage: Keep in a cool, dry place to maintain the integrity of the foam cushioning and the structural adhesives.
