While the 880 series is built for comfort and support, this specific suede variant is primarily designed as a lifestyle and everyday trainer.
Use a specialized suede brush or a clean eraser. Avoid soaking the suede in water as this can damage the material's texture.
New Balance typically offers a consistent fit; however, it is recommended to follow the UK adult size chart provided for the 880 series.
No, machine washing will ruin the suede material and compromise the structural integrity of the shoe.
The New Balance 880 series generally provides a balanced fit, though personal comfort may vary based on specific foot width.
Use a dry, soft-bristled brush to gently buff the suede in the direction of the grain.
Ensure laces are not overtightened; if the fit is consistently tight, consider wearing thinner socks or checking if you require a different size.
Allow the shoes to air dry naturally in a cool room, never use a heater or hair dryer as heat can damage the suede texture.
Getting the most out of your New Balance 880 trainers involves proper sizing and routine maintenance. When choosing your pair, ensure you reference the UK sizing guide for the most accurate fit as these are designed for standard adult proportions. To care for your suede shoes, avoid direct contact with water or mud. Use a soft-bristled suede brush to gently remove surface dust after each wear. If a stain occurs, utilize a dedicated suede eraser and cleaner. Store your trainers in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent the grey pigment from fading over time.
