While inspired by running aesthetics, the 880R is optimized for daily comfort and lifestyle wear rather than performance distance running.
Use a dedicated suede brush for dry cleaning. Avoid submerging the shoes in water as this can damage the suede texture.
The New Balance 880R generally runs true to standard sizing; we recommend choosing your usual athletic shoe size.
We recommend avoiding heavy rain, as water can damage the suede material. If they do get wet, let them air dry completely at room temperature.
ABZORB cushioning is a blend of foam and rubber that provides exceptional impact absorption and comfort during prolonged movement.
Use a soft-bristled suede brush to gently lift the nap of the material and restore the original texture.
Wear the trainers for shorter periods indoors initially to allow the cushioning to adapt to your foot shape.
Apply a specialized suede eraser or a light application of suede cleaner; always test on an inconspicuous area first.
To ensure your New Balance 880R trainers remain in top condition, proper care is essential. Since the upper is crafted from suede, avoid exposing them to harsh chemicals or excessive moisture, as this can degrade the material. Use a specialized suede brush to remove loose dirt and debris. If the shoes become damp, air-dry them away from direct heat sources to prevent material warping. For storage, keep them in a cool, dry place to preserve the integrity of the cushioning system.
