Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your HOKA Transport Hike GORE-TEX shoes provide long-lasting performance, follow these guidelines:
- Fitting: Ensure you have a thumb's width of space at the front of the toe box. Utilize the speed lace hooks to secure the midfoot snugly to prevent sliding inside the shoe.
- Break-in Period: While comfortable out of the box, wear them around the house or on short walks to allow the materials to adapt to your foot shape.
- Cleaning: Remove loose dirt with a soft brush after each hike. If the exterior gets muddy, wipe it down with a damp cloth and mild, non-detergent soap.
- Drying: Air dry only. Avoid placing the shoes near heaters, radiators, or direct sunlight, as excessive heat can degrade the adhesive and the GORE-TEX membrane.
- Maintenance: Periodically check the outsole tread for embedded debris, which can reduce grip if left accumulated.
