Check for any obstructions around the straw mechanism. Ensure all parts of the spout are correctly assembled after cleaning. Gentle wiggling might help loosen a stiff mechanism.

Verify that the lid is screwed on tightly and that the silicone seals around the lid and spout are intact and properly seated. Ensure the flip straw is fully closed.

Disassemble the spout and wash all components thoroughly with warm, soapy water. A bottle brush can help remove residue. For stubborn odors, a mixture of baking soda and water left overnight can be effective.
