The Nike ACG ZoomX Ultrafly is designed for dedicated trail runners seeking a balance between high-speed responsiveness and rugged durability. Featuring advanced carbon plate technology and a high-traction Vibram outsole, this trainer excels on technical off-road paths and long-distance mountain runs, though its specialized performance focus may feel less natural on flat pavement.

The upper is constructed from technical mesh for high breathability, so they are not considered waterproof.
While technically possible, the Vibram outsole and trail-specific geometry are optimized for rugged, off-road terrain rather than paved roads.
The fit should be snug and secure through the midfoot to provide stability on uneven ground, with enough room in the toe box for foot swelling during long runs.
The lifespan depends on your running style and terrain, but ZoomX is designed for high-performance durability; inspect the outsole lugs regularly for wear.
The plate provides structural rigidity and energy return, which helps propel you forward and maintain stability over unpredictable, uneven trail surfaces.
Ensure the laces are not pulled too tight across the midfoot, as this can affect how the carbon plate feels against your foot.
Use a soft-bristled brush to remove dried mud from the Vibram lugs after your run to maintain maximum traction for the next outing.
To ensure the best performance from your Nike ACG ZoomX Ultrafly trainers, ensure you have the correct UK size, as the performance fit is snug to prevent blisters. When cleaning, avoid harsh chemicals or machine washing; instead, gently wipe the mesh upper with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap. Allow the shoes to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources like radiators to preserve the structural integrity of the ZoomX foam and the adhesive of the outsole.
