Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your trainers, focus on proper cleaning and storage:
- Break-in Period: If you are new to carbon-plated footwear, wear the shoes on shorter, flatter trails for 2-3 runs to allow your feet to adapt to the rigidity of the plate.
- Cleaning: After muddy runs, remove excess debris with a soft-bristled brush. Hand-wash with cold water and mild soap if necessary. Avoid machine washing, as heat can damage the foam properties.
- Drying: Air dry only in a cool, shaded area. Do not place them near direct heat sources like radiators, as this may warp the carbon plate or degrade the adhesive.
- Storage: Store in a dry environment away from direct sunlight to prevent rubber oxidation and UV damage to the upper mesh.
