The Nike ACG ZoomX Ultrafly Trail is designed for adult male trail runners seeking a lightweight, high-performance trainer for technical off-road environments. By combining responsive ZoomX cushioning with a specialized carbon plate, it offers exceptional energy return and stability on unpredictable terrain, though its specialized construction may feel too firm for casual road walking.

The carbon plate provides structural rigidity and propulsion, helping with efficiency during long-distance trail runs.
Yes, they are suitable for fast-hiking, though they are primarily engineered as a high-speed trail running shoe.
There should be about a thumb's width of space at the toe to accommodate foot swelling during long runs.
The shoe is tuned for uneven trails; avoid wearing it for long road runs to prevent excessive wear on the lugs.
Ensure the laces are tensioned correctly across the midfoot and consider using gaiters if running on loose, deep scree.
To ensure peak performance, lace the shoes snugly to engage the lockdown of the mesh upper, which helps prevent sliding on technical downhills. Given the technical nature of the sole, it is best to avoid using these on smooth gym floors or tarmac where the lugs may wear down prematurely. For care, remove excess mud after runs using a soft brush and water. Allow the shoes to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources, which can degrade the foam properties.
