The Regatta Frankie men's half zip fleece is designed for adult males seeking a durable, comfortable, and warm mid-layer for outdoor activities and everyday wear. Its key benefit is providing adaptable warmth and protection against changing weather conditions. A potential caveat is that it's primarily a mid-layer and may require additional insulation in extreme cold. This fleece combines soft microfleece with tough, coated poplin panels for enhanced durability and protection, featuring a convenient zip neck and a single chest pocket.

The Regatta Frankie fleece is primarily designed as a mid-layer for warmth and comfort during outdoor activities like walking and casual travel, or for everyday wear.
It is made from a combination of soft microfleece (70% polyester/30% polyester) and durable, coated micro poplin panels (63% polyester/37% polyester).
Machine wash at 30°C with similar colours. Do not bleach, tumble dry, iron, or dry clean. Avoid fabric softener.
Yes, it features one zipped chest pocket for secure storage of small items.
No, the fleece itself is not waterproof. It is designed to provide warmth and can be worn under a waterproof jacket for full weather protection.
A half zip means the jacket has a zipper that extends approximately halfway down the front, allowing for adjustable ventilation.
It can be worn as an outer layer in mild, dry conditions. However, for true weather protection against wind and rain, it functions best as a mid-layer under an appropriate outer shell.
Ensure you are not using fabric softener, as this can affect the fabric's texture. Avoid high heat drying or ironing, as this can also make the fleece feel stiff.
Check for any fabric caught in the zipper. Gently try to work the zipper up and down. If the issue persists, a small amount of graphite (from a pencil) or wax can be applied to the zipper teeth.
This fleece is designed as a mid-layer. For colder conditions, wear it over a thermal base layer and/or under a waterproof or insulated outer jacket.
Setup:
This fleece requires no setup. It is ready to wear straight out of the packaging.
Compatibility:
The Frankie fleece is designed as a versatile mid-layer. It can be worn over a base layer (e.g., t-shirt, long-sleeve thermal) and under a waterproof or windproof outer shell for enhanced weather protection.
